Water challenge day one!

So i relized that my post from last night actually didnt post till today... weird right? Anyway i am nearing the end of day one of week one for the gallon water challenge and let me tell you it has been difficult so far and honestly i dont think i can finsh the last little bit of water left in my jug. I think i messed up for one because i had a very hard time pulling myself out of bed today it was just o e of those days. I actually did not get out of bed till damn near 2pm. Hopefully tomarrow will be better for me.

So my observations from my first day on this challange are some first off i havent felt very hungry at all and when i did eat i felt like i ate significantly less than i would and i am ver please with this because its a big thing for me. Secondly i noticed the water calmed my symptoms of my metformin. I will be continuing this challenge and will post about my progress in a week. See you all then and as alwayse dont forger to fight like a girl!

Water challange!

So most of you may have heard of the 30 day water challengefor those who havent Basicallyyou drink a gallon of water a day for 30 day kind of self explanatory right. Well I have decided that i am going to take the challenge but insted of 30 day im going to do 8 weeks because of the fact that its summer and rather hot here and i really should be drinking water anyway! On top of the water challenge i will be starting a new metformin regement. The water challenge is said to have multiple benefits including, weightloss, skin rejuvenation, detoxification, curbing appetite, and thats just the ones i could Remember... do i really have to tell you how good water is for you?
So the things i hope to achieve with this challange are:
* Better skinn
* Energy
* Body detoxification
* Healthier hair
* Weightloss
Im sure theres more but those are all i could think of lol.

My Plan! So i have taken a gallon jug of spring water i got from walmart and decorated it with my bic permanent markers. I marked 8 lines possibly one more/less.(dont worry ill show you in my next post!) I filled it up and its chilling in my refrigerator ready for tomarrow. I will report back tomarrow night and let everyone know how i did then every week after i will check in. I urge everyone to try this challenge but please rember to not drink the hole gallon all at once it could be dangerous! Also it would be so nice to hear from some of you so please feel free to comment! And as alwayse never stop fighting like a girl!

Provera

So the last month and a half I have been on provera (medroxyprogesterone) along with my 1,000 milligrams of metformin, my 400 mg folic acid and my gummy vitamins. For those of you who are unfamiliar with provera it is a progestin, A female hormone that helps regulate Ovulation and menstrual Cycles. Provera is important for woman with PCOS to have some sort of cycle. Your body needs to have a period it is vital to you health. Menstruation is necessary to rid the body of the uterine lining that has built up in preparation for pregnancy, it also eliminates excess iron witch can be a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Additionally, the menstrual cycle includes two weeks were women show significantly reduced blood pressure as a result Woman have fewer heart attacks and strokes. Monthly Menstruation flushes bacteria out of the reproductive system serving as a form of protection for STD's and infertility. I know that it can be a pain to have a cycle every month but your body needs to have a period it is vital to you health so suck it up buttercup and talk to your DR about Provera.. I did and I feel wonderful.
